Our company is owned and managed by Darren Cohen, who has over 20 years experience, providing sound financial planning advice since 1997. Tara Cohen joined the firm in 2014 having worked with businesses in the financial services sector since 2003. A friendly and professional team, we work closely with you to find the very best mortgage and protection products suited to your individual circumstances.

Working with Accountants, we gained a wealth of knowledge and experience specifically helping self-employed customers and business owners in the IT contractor mortgage market as it began to flourish in the 1990’s and helped shape this part of the UK mortgage industry and the way it operates today.
Darren Cohen began his career at the prestigious Baker Street offices of John Stephen Associates in the West End of London and was trained in all areas of Financial Services before finding his niche in the mortgage and protection sector. The entrepreneur set up his mortgage firm at the age of 24 and is proud that his business has continued to provide advice to clients before, during and after the 2008 financial crash and throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Darren continues to manage the firm today.
Tara Cohen joined the firm in 2014 as a mortgage administrator, having previously worked in advertising and corporate communications with City firms such as Lloyds of London and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). In 2017, Tara obtained the professional mortgage advice qualification CeMAP from the London Institute of Banking and Finance and started as our first female mortgage adviser, fully qualified to provide first charge mortgage and protection advice to clients nationwide.
We are experienced in arranging a broad range of mortgages for first time buyers, mortgages for high-net worth professional and IT contractors, Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor mortgages, finance for Expats and Interest Only mortgages for later life customers. We also advise on Buy to Let mortgages helping portfolio landlords, limited company buy-to-lets for special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and is trusted by other professionals such as accountants and IFAs to provide their customers nationwide with first-class advice.
